Beer description
The pride and joy of sour program, American Sour, has won several awards including Gold at the 2015 Carolinas Championship of Beer. Styled in the Flanders Red tradition, we take Buckshot Amber Ale and blend it with Old Town Brown Ale. The blend is then fermented again with wild yeast and bacteria while it ages in Oak barrels for 2+ years. The result is tart and dry with subtle fruit notes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
