One of the best things about Hop City - aside from the obvious - is the coming together of brewers and the collaboration that comes from that proximity - be it at Northern Monk or some of our esteemed brewing neighbors; be it at the festival or in anticipation of it. And since it's brewed for a festival, it was only fitting that it be brewed for Thought Bubble's Patrons Project, a festival in its own right! For the third edition of Thought Bubble we have teamed up with London based companies Pressure Drop and Gravity Well. Starting with a classic non-ferrous oat and wheat grist, we've strayed a little off the beaten path with the addition of Cara Gold malt to add a hint of caramel sweetness and the hue of a shimmering sunset. Idaho 7 and Citra form the backbone of the hop profile along with some NZ favorites like Nelson and the lesser known Rakau and Nectaron. All this combined results in a DDH IPA with a blend of vibrant nectarine oil and sweet, sticky apricot juice, plus top notes of fragrant elderflower, cucamelon and mojito.
Sehr fruchtig, tolles Mundgefühl und weiche Cremigkeit. Vollmundiges IPA, dem man die fast schon verschwenderische Nutzung des Hopfens anmerkt. Da steckt jede Menge drin. Toll!
