Beer description
The first of the new Elemental series without additives this year is Water, their extraordinary dark barley wine made from 6 different types of grains.
The magic begins in the brewing process with spelt and rye, creating a super thick mouthfeel, while wheat adds a lovely bread-like quality. Emmer, the ancient ancestor of spelt and wheat, contributes its unique flavor. Oats give the beer a luxurious, silky mouthfeel. And of course, barley forms a base of malt, toffee, and molasses. The addition of some cane sugar finally increases complexity and complements notes of dried red fruits. Discover rich caramel and bread notes and explore the influence of each type of grain.
Fermented with yeast that exudes a hint of pear and red apple, the fruitiness develops organically from the grains and yeast, while the hops take a back seat in the flavor journey. The result is a full-bodied, moderately sweet barley wine with delightful fruity aromas.
Water is more than just a barley wine; it is a sweet symphony of grains and complex flavors, a testament to our love for craftsmanship. Cheers!
