Milwaukee Grand Madame Brandy Barleywine

Milwaukee’s historic red light district once had a larger than life character in Miss Kittie Williams. Her turn of the century brothel was largely regarded as “one of the finest in the U.S.” Their Brandy Aged Barleywine puts to mind a beer that may have been served to the upscale male clientele in one of her exotic Brew City parlors. Aromas of raisin, date and fig give way to warm flavors of tobacco and molasses finishing with a sweet warm stickiness and a hint of toffee. The name Brandy, perhaps, could even describe one of Kittie’s “professors”, an elegant combination of naughty and nice.
