Mikkeller - De Bijen Blend 2

Rustic Danish Shipyard Ale with forest honey. This incredibly light and fluffy honey ale was aged for 9 months in one of our European oak foeders with our mix of native yeast and bacteria. The honey flavor and aroma is present, but not dominating to the point that is all that can be perceived, nor did the beer dry out too much. This beer summarizes the harmony between local malts and grains, yeast and bacteria, and honey.
