The Pitt beers were originally brewed at the Bavaria brewery in Lieshout, the Netherlands. Today this brand, which by the way is only available from the Dutch supermarket chains Jumbo and C1000, is produced in the Brouwerij Martens in Bocholt (Belgium). The beer once had an alcohol content of 4.8%, but has now reached an impressive 5%. The Pitt beers are also aimed at the low-price sector and are therefore particularly popular with students.
