Nice balance of chocolate, roasted dark malts and a spicy, almost rye-like bourbon character. There isn't much vanilla or oak present, allowing the chocolate malts and bourbon to take center stage. No sweetness, no hop bite or bitter, acrid charcoal taste on the finish.
