Beer description
Ingredients: Water; barley malt; honey; hops; rose hip; champagne yeast. Contains sulfites.
It is the result of a collaboration between Sakiškės Beer and Superstition Meadery, one of the most famous meaderies in the USA.
In the production of the beer, we started with a very light malt bill supported by the especially soft and light Heidelberg malt. However, the main source of fermentable sugar comes from the honey. In this case, it is local Lithuanian honey. The champagne yeast carries out a relatively dry and clean fermentation.
During the aging process, we added rose hips and Arizona flowers to the mead. These additions give the mead its fruity pink color, the aroma of berries, and the sweetness of the flowers.
At the end of the process, the mead was sweetened with local honey and lightly carbonated.
