Maisel & Friends - Tropical Coast

The Maisel & Friends Tropical Coast is a limited West Coast IPA. It is Fernando Coppi's winning beer. The Brazilian, who is now employed by Jopen Brouwerij in the Netherlands, won the fourth hobby brewing competition from Maisel & Friends and BrauBeviale in May with his beer. Now the beer has been brewed at Maisel & Friends and you can look forward to a tropical fruity beer. The alcohol content is 6.5% vol. and 60 IBUs are hiding behind the honey-yellow brew. The hops were brewed with Idaho7, Citra, Simcoe and Herkules. In the glass, the IPA shimmered in a slightly cloudy honey yellow. Intense tropical aromas of mango and orange flow from the creamy head. The initial taste is dominated by strong passion fruit aromas and apricot accents. Fine pineapple notes and a dominant IPA bitterness round off the entire West Coast IPA and make you want more.
