Beer description
The Wheat Wine rested in the Aquavit barrel for almost a year and the result is impressive. The stored strong beer shimmers in the glass between amber and hazelnut colors and has a turbidity typical of wheat beer. A very complex fragrance flows from the glass. The beer lover can expect an interplay of nutty notes, a hint of anise, coriander, vanilla, almond, nutmeg and caraway. The complexity of Freaky Wheat does not decrease in the mouth either. Initially, a light bouquet of cumin reaches the tongue, then fruity orange and light white wine notes emerge. Beautiful caramel and honey notes form a solid base and the finish even brings a fine nutty aroma. The wonderful and typical spice nuances of aquavit underline the overall picture and make this beer, thanks to the barrel maturation, really unique.
Ein bernsteinfarbenes Weißbier aber geschmacklich durch die Reifung im Barrel etwas kräftiger im Geschmack. Die Schaumkrone ist feinporig und hält lange.
