Maisacher - Kneißl Dunkel

"D’ Woch’ fangt scho guat o..." These were his last words before he, the robber Mathias Kneißl, was executed on 21 February 1902 with the guillotine. Even today Mathias Kneißl is revered by the population in the west of Munich between Dachau and Maisach as "Bavarian Robin Hood". The poaching, caused by his poor life, has always been the target of the authorities. In memory of the infamous robber Kneißl Maisach brews the "robber Kneißl dark" exactly according to the former recipe.
