Beer description
The base of its smooth flavor is German Pilsner malt with subtle notes of grain, honey and crisp biscuit complemented by a slight bitterness and perceptible but restrained character of noble German Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, slightly herbal and floral. Slowly fermented and matured with yeast from the Augustiner brewery in Munich at low temperatures to ensure the clean, slightly sulfury character of the best examples of the style.
