Liquid Story - Sunrise

Brewed with rice flakes, lemongrass and green tea In Sunrise we combined two different passions from to young businesses: Brewing beer and green tea. When looking for the perfect fit for our refreshing Saison, Sascha from SHO CHA took us un a journey to a completely new world in terms of green tea! We decided to work with SHO CHA's SENCHA No.1. A soft and fruity green tea from Miyazaki which complements the light malt base as well as the pleasant yeast characteristics perfectly. The addition of lemongrass provides some depth while keeping this brew easy and highly crushable. Initiated by Sophia, Sunrise was a team's favorite since day one. Enjoy your Sunrise! We smell herbs, banana, lemon and some woody notes. The taste is driven by a lightbodied base with some flavors of citrus and grainy undertones. Retronasally you will find some umami-flavor given by the green tea. Note: This brew releases it's full, woody, lemongrass potential when breathing a few minutes.
