The sourness of the plums runs through you like a bolt of lightning! Off Trail LIGHTNING STRIKE - Lightning Strike - is a terroir-inspired "Off Trail LIGHTNING STRIKE - Lightning" using plums from this year's harvest in Kosuge Village. The base blend is Brett Pale Ale, which is aged for 6 months but has enough tropical fruity taste. It was chosen because it matched the acidity of the plums very well. This year, as the heat did not abate in September, we also blended a Blonde Ale to create a drinkable beer that could be drunk neat in the Off Trail.
