This Doppelbock matured on sandalwood on the Rhine. The eye sees him as if looking into the young day, whose rays of sun rise slowly penetrate through the veil of the Rhenish early morning mist. A fine, even veil lies over the gaze, the awakening eye still needs a little to see clearly. Orange and peach red rays slowly penetrate through. As white as fog in a side valley, a soft but consistent foam blanket hovers over it. The scent is also reminiscent of the woody and resinous notes of the forest in the valleys. A little freshness and acidity are added discreetly. What the nose has discovered is also revealed harmoniously on the tongue. Malt sweetness, full-bodiedness and gentle bitterness come together to create a well-rounded whole. In particular, the resinous, slightly sour and bitter impressions remain on the palate for a long time.
