Lahnsteiner Brauerei - Donka Limitierte Sonderedition mit Thymian

Donka is the fluid expression of the love of two people. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, Donka Ivanova - today Donka Fohr - from Stara Zagora in Bulgaria and Dr. Markus Fohr - then and now the owner of the Lahnsteiner Brewery - knew and said yes shortly after the turn of the millennium - a millennium love, so to speak. The naming of this craft beer has already been explained, its nature not yet. It originated from a typical German beer style - the Pils - and from two typical Bulgarian ingredients - Bulgarian oak and Bulgarian wild thyme. We brewed it for the first time in 2016 on the occasion of the birthday of its namesake. Depending on your mood, we sometimes brew a naturally cloudy or a filtered Donka - so let yourself be surprised!
