Beer description
Our anticipation of a snowy winter with cosy, enjoyable hours is growing ever greater. Our love of the divine brew and our proximity to the Cistercian monastery was an additional source of inspiration. The new winter beer "Skiheilige" is a not entirely serious ode to the contemplative winter season and the dark beer style "Dubbel". But interpreted in a snow-white or light colour.
The strong Belgian abbey beer delights the connoisseur with subtle nut, caramel, dried fruit and sultana flavours and is blessed with fine notes of pear and hops. Although anything but classically hopped with Calypso, it is extremely tasty. Some even speak of a divine recipe... but we want to leave the monastery in the village and recommend a personal anointing tasting.
