The caramel-colored foam piles up in the glass with fine pores before it leaves the stage to the mahogany-colored beer imbued with ruby reflections. Intense whiskey aromas with a hint of dark chocolate fog our olfactory organ and then skillfully make way for the subtle fruity notes of a freshly rasped green apple. The finely acidic and slender body wonderfully conceals the 8.1% alcohol by volume in the first drink. In the warming aftertaste, however, this blend shows its true, powerful face peppered with vanilla and wood barrel notes.
