Kiuchi Brewery - Hitachino Nest Anbai Ale

Anbai literally means "salty plum" and the word is also used to describe the status of taste and aroma. Ii Anbai means "just right"! Hitachino Nest Anbai Ale is brewed based on the alcohol-rich version (7%) of the Siganture beer Hitachino Nest White Ale, topped with locally grown green plum (ume) and topped with a pinch of Japanese sea salt (moshio). The balance between acidity and bitterness comes from the plum and the subtle salinity. The great umami taste of sea salt is "Ii Anbai - just right!".
