Beer description
A rich, velvety smoked milk stout, infused with rich, fresh-brewed Organic Peruvian coffee from Joe Van Gogh in Hillsborough, a touch of sea salt, and over 20 pounds of locally-raised sirloin bacon from our buddies at Left Bank Butchery, right around the corner from the brewery here in Saxapahaw! We added a touch of cherrywood smoked malt from our friends at Epiphany Craft Malt in Durham and a pinch of lactose to bring in a little balance on the subtle waves of roast, smoke and salt, all of which culminate in a perfectly rich, wonderfully layered, slightly smoky sweet stout.
