The abbreviation IPA stands for India Pale Ale. This originally English beer was brewed in the 17th century for the chauvinistic English colonists settled in India. They craved a truly English pint while defending the territory. To make the beer make the long and hot crossing to India, English brewers added extra hops as a preservative.
As a result, most IPAs are also very bitter due to the high hop dose. Instead, we found it challenging to make an IPA that is fruity and drinkable in addition to bitter. Our IPA is brewed with a high dose of aromatic hops
