About a year ago, feeling bold and adventurous, we decided to try something new—brewing a stout with Belgian yeast. And boy, did it pay off! As time passed, our creation matured in fresh bourbon barrels straight from Maker’s Mark. We knew we were onto something good.
After patiently waiting for about six months, we cautiously picked out these barrels as potential stars for our special Indulgence series. The blend of fruity and aromatic notes from the Belgian stout mixed perfectly with the gentle vanilla and oak flavors from the barrels. And after a whole year of waiting, we were rewarded with something truly amazing.
A lovely scent of bourbon and oak hits you first, followed by a delightful mix of fruit and spices from the Belgian yeast, all wrapped up with a hint of vanilla. The taste journey begins with a burst of dried fruit, then dives into a wave of dark chocolate, finishing off with a subtle touch of oak and a lingering taste of raisins.
It’s been quite the adventure—a nod to the classics with our own twist. We’re thrilled to introduce you to our pride and joy—Indulgence 18.
