New hop alert! HBC1019 hits the craft beer scene. Our friends at Yakima Hops provided us with a fresh bag of this new hop kid on the blocks. We were happily surprised as it gave loads of interesting flavors, such as honeydew melon, dark rum, coconut, caramalized bananas, and valencia oranges. Even some diaquiri cocktail. Perfectly deserving to be in our new Hype Bomb recipe for 2024. Last year’s Hype Bomb contained Nectaron hops, bringing intense tropical pineapple and passionfruit. We did change our malt recipe slightly to bring a bit lighter and hazier beer to your table. So, get ready to pour yourself a glass and enjoy this year’s Hype Bomb!
