This is a delightfully juicy and piney pale ale brewed with our friends at the Firefly in Worcester. Based on the ‘Hop Freaky’ recipe brewed by Matt and Theo in 2015 at the Firefly - Motueka, Centennial and Chinook to the fore! We are loving our Centennial at the moment. This beer makes great use of its orangey aspects, alongside Chinook and Motueka. Aroma of fleshy breakfast orange juice with a little bit of fizzy sweets business hanging out in the back row. Flavour is more juicy orange with some light caramel notes from the Munich and Cara Gold malts. A slight sticky sweetness sits nicely with all the citrus fruit flavours. Motueka comes striding through with its characteristic lime flavours and the Chinook gets another turn this time showing more of its piney side.
