American Pale Ale, as the name suggests, is a style that New World brewers came up with. Light, light beer, like the classic British pale ale, but still completely different due to the much more aromatic, intense and citrus hops of the New World. Many call it the light version of IPA because it's just a hop-accented style that's just a lot easier to drink: session beer, as the English say. In our recipe we use Citra hops, which are rightly world-famous and lead to a characteristic fragrance bomb.
