Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
We've put together an item with Finnish TUJU that you're guaranteed to grab in this heat.
Let's start at the beginning. The guys at TUJU love cocktail-based beers, and we immediately thought of a bold base. This is nothing more than a whiskey sour, and a more extreme version of it. A lime, ginger whiskey cocktail. We knew right away that this would be quite a hit, so we went for it. The base is a sour ale, which was given a good dose of lime, and for completeness, a little fresh ginger to make it even more extreme. We finally aged this base on wood chips made from bourbon barrels until it took on the characteristic, slightly chocolatey, alcoholic-barrel flavors of bourbon.
The end result absolutely blew us away. In addition to having a pleasantly refreshing, slightly lemonade-like flavor, the whiskey notes and the pleasantly noticeable ginger round out the flavors so nicely that it gives the taste experience just as we imagined it. And its 4.5% alcohol content makes it really easy to down 1-2 cans of it in this heat.
The product can be purchased with a 50 HUF return fee, which you will receive back if you return the packaging with the label and without damage at the MOHU return machines.
