In 2020, when we tasted the first version of this beer, we were filled with pride like never before. This feeling has been with us every year since then. Our base beer is a midnight black, full-bodied Russian Imperial Stout, which we matured on the freshly roasted Ethiopian version of a Budapest specialty coffee roaster and Ghanaian cocoa beans. All this was poured into freshly emptied Bourbon barrels and aged to reach its most beautiful form. This batch is the same as the 2023 edition, except that it rested in the barrels for 2 years.
