Woodmichl Wood-aged Imperial Stout - Apple.
For the wood-aged Imperial Stout variants, different woods were tested to see how they would affect a base batch. For this purpose, 7 types of wood (cherry, pear, plum, apple, hazelnut, oak & chestnut) were dried, roasted in the oven, and stored with an Imperial Stout for several weeks.
The result is 7 exciting and sometimes very different beers with their own unique character.
