Beer description
By freezing out a top-fermented bock beer, a powerful, light-coloured Eisbock develops. This is then hopped/hemp-stopped and our legendary Iced IPA called "G'FROREN'S" is created. Version No. 13 was not hopped but hemp-stopped with Mühlviertler Purple Mango. The resulting tropical fruit aromas characterise this top-fermented strong beer and harmonise excellently with the tart hemp notes.
Hop/hemp tamping
After five weeks of storage, this beer is started to freeze out. The resulting Eisbock is then hopped/hemp-stoppered. The hops/hemp are placed in the tank and the beer has several weeks to absorb the high-quality aromas.
