Haw River - High Country Cocktail Series No 2: Sazerac

This brew is a collaboration with Peabody's Wine and Beer Merchants in Boone, NC. A tradition almost as old as America itself, the Sazerac cocktail planted its roots in New Orleans centuries ago and has now found its way to the shelves of our favorite little bottle shop in Boone. We bring to you our nod to this classic, reinvented as a bold, bright Belgian tripel made with 100% Riverbend barley & rye and absinthe-inspired ingredients like fresh fennel, star anise & Jamaican allspice, aged in aged in Willett 3 year Rye Whiskey Barrels for 6 months.
