Beer description

Double bock stored in bourbon casks. The Franconian bock beer is brewed with five different types of malt and delights with a full-bodied character and a strong 8.5% alcohol content that warms body and soul. Bourbon King owes its complexity and intense aromas to six months of aging in bourbon barrels: the oak conjures up the finest notes of vanilla and whiskey in the beer and gives it the final touch. The Bourbon King Whiskeydoppelbock flows into the glass in rich amber and carries a fleeting veil of beige foam on the shiny copper body. Olfactorically, the Franconian stout presents itself with intense malt notes, fine bourbon and a hint of vanilla. The initial drink reveals a voluminous body with a smooth mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. Fulminant notes of creamy caramel, toasted malt and candied dark fruit mingle with exotic vanilla and spicy bourbon on the tongue. The finish is sweet with big whiskey notes that make you want another glass.
