Looks: Clear deep ruby brown colour; Very good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation. Aroma: Very fragrant dark malt, with strong roastyness, hazelnuts, caramel, burnt toffee, strong dark chocolate, coffee, light floral, molasses, spices, strong dark bread, light lemon and light grass. Taste: Mid to light sweet strong dark malt, with fairly strong roastyness, black coffee, strong dark chocolate, burnt caramel and toffee, light floral, molasses, light spices, biscuits, lemon, medium bitter hops and grass. Body: Full body. Slick and creamy palate. Mouth Feel: Rich dark maltyness in a smooth and creamy background. Fairly roasty with tasty burnt caramel, lots of dark chocolate and coffee. Slightly floral with notable medium sweetness. Biscuity with lemon to round. Hoppiness: Light floral, spices, lemon and fair grass in nosed and taste; Bitterness is fairly strong for a lasting, medium astringent bitter-sweet malty finish. After Taste: Fairly dry. Grassy, chocolatey and fairly bitter to mouth.
