Affligem is a legendary Belgian monastic beer. It is made according to the original recipe of Benedictine monks from 1074, perfected with the aid of modern technologies. Affligem boasts a stronger taste and richer aroma. This is the result of double fermentation, which is achieved by adding further yeast and sugars to each bottle before sealing. This multi-award winning beer comes in three flavours: Blonde, Double and Triple. The copper-red Affligem Double offers a rich and aromatic flavour of caramelised fruit with a hop finish.
