Beer description
Originally from Ireland, red ale belongs to the pale ale family. As the name suggests, it has a dark reddish colour, which is created by the moderate addition of kilned malt and roasted barley. The classic British hop varieties ‘Goldings East Kent’ and ‘Fuggles’ provide a medium bitterness and give our Red Ale an authentic flavour without drowning out the caramel-like sweetness of the selected malts. With an alcohol content of 5%, it is slightly stronger than the classic Irish Reds.
