Midnight Project - Heaven’s Carousel

Imperial Pastry Stout Heaven Hill BA. "There's nothing but talk of pastry stouts and cask stouts on the palate. There's talk of how bloody great it is to enjoy a dense and versatile beer, how it changes with every sip and immerses you in its embrace" This slightly altered quote from the iconic film formed the basis of our collaboration with the folks at Carousel Brewery. We once again spun the carousel of styles and decided on an imperial stout. In addition to the already rich base, we aged the beer in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. The result is a soft and complex imperial stout that changes its character as it warms up. Chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, coffee, port - everyone will find something different in this beer.
