Egger - Hopf'n'Roll

The roots of today's private brewery Egger lie in the 17th century. In 1675, the suburban brewery of "Pierpreu" Hans Gwercher was first mentioned in Kufstein. In the 19th century, the brewery became the property of the Egger family. In 1978, the private brewery was rebuilt on the foundation of a century-long tradition of state-of-the-art technology in Unterradlberg. Today as then is brewed strictly according to the purity law. Large breweries can also make craft beer, especially if the master brewers are given a completely free hand! Johannes Meister, who has been working for the Lower Austrian brewery Egger for eight years, has reinterpreted an old beer style with Hopf'N'Roll and developed a fruity summer beer thanks to the use of various aroma hops. Four different hop varieties give the cold-hopped lager its fruity and exotic taste.
