Beer description
A quick ten-minute trip west from Sydney’s CBD will find you in Glebe, an historic suburb boasting pristine gardens, heritage listings and you guessed it, p-p-p-p-pubs. It’s iconic Toxteth Hotel, or ‘Tocky’ as it’s referred to by the locals, is the destination for our latest collaboration brew, the Ferry Road Ale.
Modelled on our blisteringly popular Unfazed by the Haze NHIPA, the Ferry is a veritable juice bomb, serving up all the characteristics that make the Fazer great. With the addition of aromatic Wai-ti hops and a considered reduction in ABV, we’ve created something with the session in mind…
Appearance: Sunny, bright lemon
Nose: Ripe peach, passionfruit, crunchy white nectarine, juicy table grape, classic mosaic punch
Palate: Tropical fruits, peach forward, lifted fresh mint leaf, green mango, hints of passionfruit sponge cake
Bitterness: Light & pleasant, longer presence on the palate than the Unfazed
Finish: Fresh, clean, fading bitterness
Here at PL, we’ve always aligned ourselves with quality people. The Ferry Road Collaboration Ale embodies this ethos and is yours to enjoy at both the Tocky and our Port Adelaide venue over the coming months. It’s fresh, it’s refined and there’s a good chance you’ll be able to down a couple without getting too wonky. See you at the bar!
