Fantôme Automne

Amber with a pale beige head that fades to a good coat. Aroma of ginger biscuit, lemon, grapefruit, moderate funk. A bit more than light bodied, fairly high carbonation. Not all that sweet but there's an richness to the start of a sip before spices (ginger, anise, coriander, cassia) and zesty and juicy citrus lighten things towards a dry and quite bitter finish. Engaging.
