"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." (Benjamin Franklin) The food of the gods in liquid form. This thick golden-yellow, slightly honey-scented, spicy beer was made in keeping with Belgian brewing traditions using light wheat malt. Styrian Golding and Hallertauer Perle hops counterbalance the sweet taste of wheat malt, which we further fooled with a pinch of sweet and bitter orange peel and coriander. Finally, we let the Belgian wheat yeast do its job nicely, comatically, creating a round harmonious flavor from the rivalry of bread, earthy, honey and spicy flavors.
