Beer description
EMILIO is a beer dedicated to the writer of pirate tales Emilio Salgari.
Emilio, like Sandokan, is a beer with a monk’s cassock-colored skin and a light foam that disappears quickly.
The Barley wine base acquires muscle and complexity through the passage of a year of 12.4% alcohol ex Peruvian rum barrels that stun even the most crafty pirate.
It is immediately evident that Emilio is the son of a royal lineage with all the melange of aromas that are difficult to find in a beer: very evident orange, currant and vanilla that combine with a present ethyl hint of rum that turns to chocolate and light caramel.
When tasted, all the power of the beer comes out, the body is robust, present but elegant, with a sweet finish of Caribbean distillate that goes well with the nuances of cocoa and orange
Emilio is a beer with a firm and a little rough character, which with its dangerousness knows how to take you to a completely different narrative level.
