Beer description
The Eittinger Roggenbock is a top-fermented strong beer that uses rye malt in addition to barley and special malts. This creates a sweet note in the first taste, which cannot be found in conventional beers. Since rye is difficult to process and a high original wort is desired, the mix was very intensive in order to achieve the highest possible yield. Ultimately, the beer has 21 ° P original wort and thus an alcohol content of 10% by volume is created by the top-fermented yeast used. As is customary for this beer, it is bottled unfiltered and thereby retains its malty aromatic and fruity notes.
