The small town of Großköllnbach has been home to the prestigious Egerer brewery since the 1920s. Today the brewery is owned by the fourth generation of the same family. The purest water from our own well, the Heinrich-Franz-Well, is only one of the main ingredients from which the great Eger beers are made. Malt from regional producers and hops from nearby Hallertau round off the products. Cloudy brown skin with red and orange reflections. The body is crowned by a cream-colored head that leaves little lacing. Pronounced component of clean clothing. Leather and grain; Wheat with subtle hops. About the same balance between bitter and sweet. Mild taste of baked bread in the aftertaste. Almost medium body and medium-low carbonation.
