When it comes to preserving the tradition of brewing, in Distelhausen we not only remember old, traditional brewing methods, but also original raw materials from our region. No wonder that from here - from the home of the Grünkern - a special seasonal specialty of our master brewers comes: our Distelhäuser spelled. This type of grain is a close relative of wheat, but has been grown for much longer - over 8,000 years. In that sense you can hardly enjoy a beer more originally. By the use of local spelled malt, as well as selected barley and caramel malt the beer shines reddish - brown like ripe spelled ears. For our spelled beer we use a special top-fermented yeast, which develops intense aromas during fermentation, which are reminiscent of banana and mango. The spelled beer is strong in the taste, full-bodied with a slight nut note. The taste profile is underlined by a pleasant hop note.

Fein malzig im Geschmack präsentiert sich das Dinkelbier als hervorragendes Getränk für warme Sommerabende.
