Pours clear copper with a lasting, very thin, tan head. Aroma of banana, date, plum jam, ripe pear, red apple, dried orange peel, apricot, cake, butterscotch. Taste has very sweet dates, plum, red apple & banana wrapped in thick cake- & toffee-like maltiness, a bit spicy clove-like bitter with faint nuts & toast in the back. Rather malty finish, some herbal hops, lingering spices, dried fruit, caramel & banana, along with a hefty liqueur alcohol effect kicking in. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Strong & a bit crude in its execution but I could definitely have this from time to time.
