Hops: Hersbrucker, Mittelfruh
Aged in: Oak barrels that previously held Templeton Rye
Rich with notes of vanilla, honey & toffee, nothing about Das Schutzenfest is small. We took our imperial Marzen and aged it in Templeton Rye barrels. The strong maltiness is balanced by the spice of the rye and complimented by vanilla & caramel from the oak and warming alcohol.
