In our Wittmann specialty workshop we have created something very special again this year: a top-fermented full beer with the taste of red berries! The RotCarlchen is the youngest member of the specialty family from Wittmann and is reminiscent of its big brother the Roter Carl (specialty workshop 2014). Traditional brewing methods, modern hopping, five selected types of malt and specially selected yeasts give this beer its uniqueness. A Landshut beer specialty with a round, finely reddish to amber-colored beer body, elegantly integrated recency and aroma nuances of red berries. The harmonious composition of the berry-like aromas of the hops and the fruity notes of the specially used top-fermented ale and classic bottom-fermented brewer's yeast give the beer its currant-like freshness. The ideal companion for the end of the working day and further proof from our master brewers of what is possible with modern knowledge and traditional brewing processes. The RotCarlchen is available in limited quantities and will be available from mid-April 2022 in selected beverage shops and in the catering trade. As always, only while stocks last.
