Ugly duckling. stout with the addition of oat flakes is special in two ways. Stouts are the darkest ale beer on the market with one exception - the Oatmeal Stout. The latter is allowed a significantly less dark body than other representatives of this style. The reason is oat flakes, because their taste is better emphasized in this way. The flakes make the body very creamy, smooth and drinkable, and the roasted barley nevertheless gives a pleasant roasted aroma and a pleasant aftertaste. In most cases, beer is also liked by those who do not like dark beers.
