Beer description
Taste:
Jasne Okocimskie was created as a tribute to Jan Goetz Okocimski. As the brewing art dictates, only three ingredients were used in its brewing: water, barley malt and hops to produce a beer with a perfectly balanced taste and aroma. It is a classic lager with a golden color. The beer proudly reveals a malty fullness, only to surprise after a while with a pleasant bitterness and hoppy aroma. Alcohol content is 5.0%, bitterness 17 IBU, extract 11.3%. The ideal serving temperature is 6 degrees Celsius.
History:
At the core of Okocim beer is the passion for brewing, the experience of the brewers and the 170-year history of Okocim Brewery in Brzesko. The history of Okocim beer and brand dates back to 1845, when Jan Evangelist Goetz founded a brewery in Brzesko, next to the town of Okocim - now one of the oldest in Poland. Jan Goetz was one of the most prominent personalities in the brewing world at the time, not only a brewer and entrepreneur, but also an active local social activist and philanthropist. He used only the finest barley malt, hops, high-quality yeast and water in his brewery, following the principle of "the best of the best." This was his motto, which also guides today's Okocim brewers.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, barley, hops.
