Beer description
"Busebeller" is a classic "Düsseldorfer Altbier" which was mixed with original East Frisian tea and Kluntje during brewing and in the lager tank.
Jointly brewed and conceived by "Orca" with the two good friends Uke Bosse and Heiko Gogolin.
East Frisian tea is characterized by its strong and full-bodied taste. The blend of different types of black tea, often Assam, Darjeeling and Ceylon, gives it a deep color and a rich aroma. The taste of East Frisian tea is usually malty, slightly spicy and has a pleasant depth, and it is precisely these characteristics that are also transported into the beer.
The "Busebeller" has a light but full-bodied and malty aftertaste. Paired with the tea and the hops used, it is well balanced. The finish is tart, strong and slightly spicy, yet always nicely balanced and pleasantly drinkable.
