Beer description
Cloudy black, no head. Aroma of biscuit, brownie, cinnamon, clove, chocolate nibs, vanilla, custard, coffee liqueur, orange peel, sweet tobacco. Taste has sweet fig, dates, red apple in a thick chocolatey body, biscuity too, touch of vanilla, spicy middle with cinnamon & clove & the 'mandatory' toastiness, vague lemon zest in the back. Herbal hoppy & spicy finish, creamy custard returning, lemon peel only subtle compared to the cinnamon, dark chocolate & the warming effect of liqueur. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
